Hello citizens of the blogosphere,
I would apologize for not posting in a while, but I’m afraid that I must acquiesce to the notion that I will not be able to post my art as regularly as I used to. As such, anytime you notice a significant gap between blog posts, please know that there is a tiny bit of myself that feels incredibly bad or guilty for not being able to keep the art/life/work balance in check. Furthermore, I have decided to take an online class in addition to my full time job. My hope is that the class and the job will not steal all my time away from my art. I will try to keep this in check, but please know that there is nothing that inspires me to create more than support from individuals who express some sort of appreciation for my art. I truly love it when someone tells me that they like my work, it makes me feel good about creating and it makes me want to create more.
There is nothing more rewarding to me than creating for the sake of creating (the active task of producing something with your own mind/hands) or creating for the enjoyment of others.
With that said, here are some of my most recent colored illustrations. I hope you enjoy them, as I surely enjoyed creating them.
1. Autumn. (To view the line drawing click: Original illustration-Ink on Cardstock.) Colored using Prismacolor Art Stix and Soft core Colored Pencils.

If any of these images look familiar, that might be because you saw them in my last post featuring a coloring book filled with some of my black and white line drawings. If you missed it, here is a link to my very first coloring book: Annotated Audrey’s Coloring Book.
