I work from home and have been working from home for the past four years. I’m gonna be honest with you, sometimes it’s too much of a hassle for me to get fully ready in the morning. I don’t love the pressure of having to get dressed and look cute every single day, especially if I don’t have to leave the house. I do appreciate the boost in confidence that getting ready gives me, but I much prefer the flexibility of being able to do it only when I feel like it.

Self-care / Work From Home Tip: The Treasure Box

Put together a box of some of your essential get ready and/or self-care items and keep it near where you work. When you need a little pick me up throughout the day, reach for your box and access the treasures inside! Having these items at your fingertips makes self care easy and it feels super luxurious to have everything in a cute box. Here are some of the things that I keep in my treasure chest: a tiny hairbrush, scrunchies, a nice red lipstick, lipgloss, crystals, mascara and eyeliner, glitter eyeshadows, and cute accessories.

My box is a retro-style Caboodle covered in my weatherproof vinyl stickers. I love it because it has a nice big mirror and lots of room for all my stuff.
